This was so interesting. I love seeing women finally recognized for all the many ways we have made lives run more efficiently. I have never been a fan of blue kitchens but am now looking at them from a new angle. Buzz be gone.

Very informative! what a clever, practical and thoughtful woman . Her invention has helped me enormously to organise and store all the stuff I possess ( about 40% of my overall stuff) .

Hi Aline. It’s usually the last week of the month either Monday or Wednesday at 2pm. Will fix the time this week and email.

I now have an 8m x 4.5m kitchen diner and I hate the kitchen part of it. So difficult to redesign it. I have had another custom-built space with an excellent kitchen design but it was a LOT of walking and cleaning.

My favourite kitchen was my last one. 12ft x 8ft. It was so perfectly designed (by me!), so efficient and easy to deep-clean every week. I think that a deep clean has happened every two months in my new kitchen. Just overwhelming to set aside a full day for emptying and cleaning every cupboard and the fridge. Took 90 minutes in my last kitchen.

Kate! Such an interesting article and I loved Margarete’s statement about ‘public health at large.’ Her aim wasn’t just functionality-but making the world a better place for women in particular. Unexpected feminist! I seem to be finding them everywhere I look lately.

That green kitchen, not on display in the V and A currently, is so trendy colour-wise! Except I hate the wall colour with the green...

I know what you mean. It might be the lighting though. Also an old picture.
